The second professional MBBS students of Sri Aurobindo medical
college achieved a unique milestone when all of them have
been declared successful in the university examination of
Devi Ahilya Vishvavidyalaya, Indore.
Apoorv
Sharma of the college scored above 75% marks and stood first
in the rankings. 13 students scored over 70%, 51 students
are above 60% and 3 students got above 58% marks.
This success is even more important for
the fact that all the answer books were evaluated by external
examiners and not even a single faculty member of the college
took part in evaluation, while it is a routine practice
in medical examination of the university that fifty percent
evaluation is carried out by the internal examiners and
rest of the fifty percent by external examiners. Usually
medical and particularly MBBS examination are regarded as
very tough and the results of university examinations rarely
come to cent percent. Founder chairman of Sri Aurobindo
Medical College Dr. Vinod Bhandari congratulated all the
students and the faculty members for this grand success
and hoped that in future also both the students and staff
shall do their job with more zeal and dedication and shall
achieve even greater success.
The jubilant students and their parents
gave credit for this achievement to the academic environment
of the college and the best possible arrangements of highly
qualified and dextrous faculty, excellent library, laboratory,
and of clinical training made available by the management.
