It has highly developed and fully equipped departments of the specialities and super specialities as per the Medical Council of India norms.
COLLEGE BUILDING : 250885 Sq.ft.(LG, UG, FF, SF, TF, FF, FF) The college building is build as per the MCI norms and standards. The Pre-Clinical departments are located on ground floor & first floor, Para clinical departments on 2nd, 3rd & 4th floor and the Clinical departments are located from basement to 5th floor of the hospital building.
HOSPITAL BUILDING : 222128 Sq.ft.(LG, UG, FF, SF, TF, FF, 7floors) Hospital Extension - 127490 Sq.ft.(LG,UG,FF,SF,TF,FF,FF) Hospital Speciality Wing - 168650 Sq.ft (GF, MAZ, FF, SF) The hospital building is attached to the medical college building. The clinical departments and wards are very spacious, well ventilated and are as per Minimum Standard Requirement of the Medical Council of India.
Medical Education Unit : The Institute is a recognized Regional Centre for Medical Educational Technology by Medical Council of India for the teachers training of the States of Madhya Pradesh & Bihar. The Medical Education Unit is well designed, airconditioned and well equipped with all the ultramodern teaching facilities. Regular Basic Course Workshop, Orientation Programmes, In hourse workshops, Revised Basic Course Workshops and Sensitization programmes AT-COM (Module), CISP I and CISP II is conducted regularly.
Lecture Theatres : The lecture theatres are Gallary type, well spacious and Airconditioned. The Medical College has total 7 lecture theatres, out of which 4 of 300 seating, 1 of 250 sitting capacity, 1 of 200 and 1 of 180 seating capacity. The lecture theatres are well equipped with modern audio visual aids with facilities for conversion into E-Class / Virtual class for teaching and live streaming.
Examination Halls : There are two examination halls in the Medical College with an area of 250 Sq.Mt. each having 250 sitting capacity. The examination halls are well spacious and Airconditioned.
Central Library : The Central Library runs from 9am to 9pm in two shifts. It is air conditioned with1795 Sq. Mt. area. It is well spacious and has pleasant atmosphere for students to study. There are rooms for Librarian, Journal room, staff, interns & residents along with a copying room. The library has total 19945 books with the latest journals around 157 in numbers. Online journals are also available. A separate reading room for students with 24x7 facility is also provided.
E-Library : Adjuscent to the Central Library, located the E-Library, which is one of its kind, centrally airconditioned with well equipped computers and internet facilities. There are 63 nodes in the E-library. It runs from 9am to 9pm in two shifts.
Hostels & Residential Quarters : There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels consist of separate buildings for UG students, Interns, PG students & PG Superspeciality students. The Residential quarters for Residents, Nursing & paramedical staff and other non teaching staffs are located in the same premises of the medical college & hospital. The rooms of the hostels & residential quarters are well furnished, well ventilated with twin sharing along with airconditioner facility is also provided. Each hostel building has separate visitors room, study room with internet & computer, reacreation room with TV, Music and Indoor game and Gymnasium facilities.
Auditorium & Seminar Halls : The auditorium and seminar halls of SAIMS are state of the art, built with seating capacity of more than 750. It is named as Dr. C.P. Tiwari Auditorium, who was a renowned surgeon of M.G.M. Medical College, Indore and a teacher of the Founder Chairman Dr. Vinod Bhandari. The auditorium is airconditioned with all the ultra modern audio visual and transmission facilities. The regular interfaces, conferences and other cultural and academic events are held in the auditorium, whereas for smaller scale events, the Seminar Halls are used, which are located in different parts of the college & hospital, equipped with advanced presentation tools.
Mess & Canteen Facilities : There is a huge Central Mess for the UG / PG students, teaching, residents & other non teaching staff. The students are provided Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner. The food provided is very hygienic and healthy. Regular clearning of the mess and canteens are managed by the maintenance staff. The quality of the food is managed by the dieticians. The food for patients is also supplied by the Central mess and diet chart is planned by the dieticians. The Central mess is located near the hostels and the canteens in the different parts of the medical college & hospital buildings.
Gymnasium and Recreation Facilities : There students feel much relaxed as the institute provides all the recreation facilities in the form of indoor and outdoor games, social and cultural recreation with the guidance of the trainers. A well established gymnasium to keep the students be conscious of their health & fit for mental peace. There are different timings for boys & girls.
Sports Facilities : Sports facilities are very well available for the students. Indoor & outdoor games facilities are there in the campus. Outdoor games like football, hockey, cricket, tennis, racing etc. and indoor games like table tennis, basket ball, badminton, kho-kho, kabbadi, carom, chess etc. are provided for the students. Annual sports competition is held regularly. Students also participated in regional / state / national level sports competitions and won prizes.
Common Rooms : There are separate Common rooms for boys and girls. It is well spacious with 150 Sq. Mt. area, well ventilated and has attached toilet facilities.
